It's tough to describe this carburetor in a few words to a novice, but here is my best shot at it. Hopefully, a picture really is worth a thousand words.
General Carb Description
- General description of a basic Zenith, Model A Ford carburetor: The Zenith carburetor is a cast iron (textured surface) up draft carburetor, which is painted black. The top consists of a flange, which provides mounting to the intake manifold. The fuel supply line is connected near the front, top section. The Choke Driver connects to the Gas Adjusting Valve and to the choke shaft / plate via a lever arm.
